1894 football and Phi Psi Fraternity Brother

The player wearing the white shirt (left side, middle) is t Hubert D. Stephens of New Albany.  He lettered in 1894 and 1895 and was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.  He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1896 and went on to become a five-term Congressman and a two-term U.S. Senator.  A photo of Stephens while in Congress is below.
